DESCRIPTION
During the workshop, you will climb some of the mythical mountain passes of the Hautes-Pyrénées and participate in the Giants climb to the Col de Tourmalet at an altitude of 2115m. This popular festival that accompanies “Octave” to his summer quarters is a meeting point for many cyclists.
The workshop is guaranteed from 8 participants upwards.
PROGRAM/ITINERARY
Friday 31st May 2019
- 13h00 – welcome and presentation of the program
- 14h00 – Departure for a warm up ride to the Cols of Soulor and Aubisque, (via the Col des Bordères).
Saturday 1st June 2019
- 7h00 – Breakfast
- 7h45 – departure from your accomodation by bike direction Bagnères de Bigorre, (via the Cols of Lingous and Saoucéde).
- 9h30 – Departure for the Giants climb from Bagnères de Bigorre. The climb will be via the slopes of La Mongie. Return trip from the Col de Tourmalet with the mini-bus or for those that wish, cycling via Luz St Sauveur.
Sunday 2nd June 2019
After breakfast, you can make use of the waterpark at Sunêlia the 3 Valleys. Relax in the jacuzzi, massage jets and hot tubs. (included in the price of your stay).
